This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our websites, enroll in courses, join our community, subscribe to communications, purchase programs, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
If you are a resident of certain U.S. states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, and Virginia), please also see Section 12 (U.S. State Privacy Rights) for additional disclosures and rights.Â
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, IP address, device identifiers)
- Contact & Account Data (e.g., mailing address, phone number, account preferences)
- Commercial/Transaction Data (e.g., purchases, program enrollments, order history)
- Payment Data processed by third parties (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store full payment credit card numbers.Â
- Internet/Usage Data (e.g., pages viewed, time on page, referral URLs, browser/device details, cookies)
- Approximate Geolocation (derived from IP address)
- User-Generated Content (e.g., posts or messages within our community, surveys and forms testimonials you submit)
We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health data or government ID numbers). Please do not submit such information to us.
2. Sources of InformationÂ
We collect information:
- Directly from you (account creation, purchases, forms/surveys, community posts, testimonials, support requests)
- Automatically via cookies, tags, SDKs, and analytics tools when you use our Services
- From service providers/platforms we use to operate the Services (see Section 3)
3. Service Providers and Platforms We Use
To operate and improve the Services, we use trusted vendors, including:
- Kajabi (website hosting, course hosting, email marketing, site features)
- Mighty Networks (community forums/member areas)
- Stripe and PayPal (payment processing)
- Google Analytics and/or GA4 (traffic and usage analytics)
- Email/SMS providers
- Hotjar (behavior analytics and session recording)
- Google Forms (client application form)
- SamCart / ThriveCart (checkout pages)
- Advertising Pixels (e.g., Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel) (ad performance tracking and retargeting)
These providers act as our service providers/processors and handle information solely to perform services for us, under confidentiality and security obligations. Each provider’s privacy policy applies to its tools.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, personalize, and improve the Services (including course delivery and community features)
- Process orders and payments; send invoices/receipts; provide customer support
- Communicate with you (transactional notices, account alerts); send newsletters and promotions if you opt in or as permitted by law
- Operate, analyze, and improve site performance and user experience (including debugging, analytics, and research)
- Maintain security and prevent fraud/abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We (and our providers) use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure performance, and support advertising/retargeting.
Your choices:
- Adjust your browser settings to block/limit cookies
- Use Google’s available opt-out tools for analytics
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message
- Where required by law, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for applicable opt-outs
- We do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals (industry standard not adopted)
6. How We Disclose InformationÂ
We may disclose information to:
- Service providers (Section 3) who support the Services
- Professional advisors (e.g., lawyers, accountants)
- Authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property
- Successors/assignees in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer (in which case this Policy will continue to apply, or you will be notified of changes)
We may disclose aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you. We do not rent or sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide required notices and opt-outs.
7. Affiliate Links & Sponsored RecommendationsÂ
Some pages may include affiliate links or sponsored recommendations. This means we may receive a commission or other consideration if you purchase through those links, at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products or services we believe are useful for our audience, but our recommendations are opinions, not guarantees.Â
We will clearly disclose affiliate relationships or sponsorships on any page or post where they appear. Third-party sites you visit through these links are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, practices, or products. 8. User-Generated Content (Community Posts, Testimonials, Uploads)Â
Some features of the Services (e.g., our Mighty Networks community, course discussions, assignment areas, or testimonial submissions) allow you to post content, including text, photos, audio, or video (“User-Generated Content” or “UGC”).
- Visibility and Caution. UGC may be visible to other members or, if marked public, to visitors. Do not post personal information you do not want others to see, and do not include sensitive data (e.g., health, financial, government ID numbers).
- Your Rights & License to Us. You retain ownership of your UGC. By submitting UGC to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, perform, and adapt that UGC solely to operate and improve the Services. If you submit a testimonial for marketing use, we will display it only with your prior consent and may include your name/likeness as you direct.
- Your Responsibilities. You represent that you have the necessary rights to post the UGC and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate law or our community guidelines. You agree not to post others’ personal information without consent.Â
- Moderation. We may (but are not obligated to) monitor, remove, or disable UGC that we believe violates our terms, the law, or community guidelines.Â
- Removal and Retention. You may delete your UGC where the platform allows. Copies may persist in routine backups, in prior shares by others, or where retention is required by law.Â
- Third-party Use. Other users may view, copy, or share your UGC. We are not responsible for what others do with UGC you make available.Â
9. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, to comply with legal/record-keeping obligations, and to resolve disputes. By default:
- Customer/account records: while the account is active and up to 3 years after last activity
- Transaction records: 7 years (tax/accounting)
- Analytics/cookie identifiers: up to 14 months
- Support inquiries: 2 years after resolution
- User-generated content: while posted or until deleted by you (subject to backup cycles)
We retain de-identified or aggregated data indefinitely.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps and appropriate measures to protect information, including HTTPS/SSL, access controls, and least-privilege practice. No security program is perfect. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
Payments: All payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal; we do not store full card details on our servers.
11. Your Choices & Account Management
You may update certain account details with your account or by contacting us at [email protected]. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in those emails. If you opt out of marketing, we may still send transactional or service communications.Â
SMS: If you opt in to SMS, you can reply STOP to opt out.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for individuals 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
13. International Users & Data Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other countries with privacy laws that may differ from where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
14. U.S. State Privacy Rights (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, Virginia)
Subject to exceptions, residents of the states above may have rights to access/know, portability, correction, deletion, and to opt out of (i) targeted advertising, (ii) sale of personal information, and (iii) certain profiling. California residents may also have the right to limit use of sensitive personal information.
How to exercise rights: Email [email protected] with subject “Privacy Request,” to specify your state and request, and provide information sufficient for us to verify your identity. We will respond within applicable timelines (generally 45 days, with possible extension). If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal.” If we deny the appeal, you may contact your state Attorney General.
Selling/Sharing: We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and honor GPC signals.
Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
15. California Notice at Collection
Categories collected: identifiers; contact & account data; commercial/transaction data; internet/usage data; approximate geolocation; user-generated content. We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information.
Purposes: Provide and secure the Services; process transactions; customer support; communications and marketing (as permitted by law); analytics and improvement; compliance and fraud prevention.
Retention: See Section 9.
Selling/Sharing: We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.

16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last Updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice.
